Technology is evolving for sure.
After the everything in the "Cloud" phase, which is now becoming the norm, what is next?
Based on what we are seeing so far today, the future will be very exciting. So far, we are just seeing the tip of the high-tech iceberg. Major advances in sensor technology, miniaturization, low cost cloud services, crowd funding, and open source software and information have changed the technology landscape. All of this is now coming together and will impact and shape the future.
Just to mention a few trends. Electric cars, self-driving cars, drones of all shapes and sizes, everything subscription based and pay as you go, Uber, Lyft, Airbnb, internet of things, virtual reality, reusable rockets, private space exploration, mobile everything, i-almost-everything, and gizmos galore.
Following the trends above and how they evolve will keep us busy but also enrich us both through the information generated and hopefully by the results generated along the journey.

Internet has evolved into this amazing mind boggling organism that most people today cannot imagine life without. Many businesses would not even exist without the Internet backbone.
Nobody can ever imagine where it is heading in two years, even less in five years.
